Radu is currently heading CEFS’ Corporate Finance department. A former Senior Associate and Project Manager with CA~IB (now UniCredit) Financial Advisors (1997-2000), Radu was responsible for advising clients on various M&A transactions. Among others, he assisted Heidelberg Cement (Germany) for all its acquisitions in Romania (three cement plants, one lime plant and several pits and quarries); While with CA~IB he was also involved in IPOs or secondary offerings (private placements, secondary public offering) for cement, cables and pharma companies.
While co-managing the investment banking boutique Capital Invest he was involved, on the sell-side in several M&A deals in sectors as diverse as: pharma distribution, IT (core banking software), building materials, edible oil, leasing.
Between 2011 and 2014 Radu headed PwC’s M&A Department, a period during which he worked on numerous sell and buy-side deals, co-ordinating a team of 10 professionals.
A mechanical engineer by formation, Radu holds a Master in Business Administration degree from UQAM & McGill Universities (Montreal) since 1995; he is a licensed Valuator (ANEVAR) with more than 15 years of experience.
